Taylor Swift’s gift for 1989 one year birthday was a live acoustic performance of “Out Of The Woods.”
The “Bad Blood” singer tweeted a link to the performance accompanied by the hashtag HappyBirthday1989 which fans have been using to celebrate the occasion.

The piano acoustic version is from a private concert Taylor did on September 30 in the Clive Davis Theatre in Los Angeles closing her GRAMMY Music exhibit; The Taylor Swift Experience.
The artist also shared some details about the song and how it was inspired by a relationship that was very “fragile” yet meaningful. “Out Of The Woods” was said to be about One Direction’s Harry Styles whom Taylor dated a few years back so we can pretty much be sure that that’s the relationship she’s hinting at.
“Out Of The Woods” was co-written by Jack Antonoff and is part of Taylor’s 1989 album that hit the world by storm a year ago.
