Tarja Turunen dropped by Byblos and made the crowds go crazy.
On Monday, August 6, Norwegian vocalist Tarja Turunen hit the stage at the Byblos International Festival and got the audience to go bananas.
The singer launched the show with a few Arabic words, which rang well with the Lebanese crowd who were jumping and screaming. Tarja sang some fan-favorites from her own tracks and gave the fans “some of her past,” as she put it, in reference to her history with the band Nightwish, which has a huge fanbase in Lebanon.
She ended her show with her rendition of Zeppelin’s “Over the Hills and Far Away” to later follow it with a center-stage headbang.
