Halsey released the visual for “Sorry” and we’re in tears.
The artist released a visual for the sixth track off her latest album hopeless fountain kingdom, which she dropped last year in June.
After a streak of successful tracks and important stances in the women’s march, Halsey gave us a bloody video for “Sorry.” MTV’s Hilary Hughes reported the similarities between “Sorry” and a scene from Baz Luhrmann’s 1994 depiction of Romeo and Juliette.
The track filled with apologies will probably bring you to tears and the visuals with some hopelessness as the singer makes her way down a street that witnessed a shoot out of some sort. Her bloody face matches the Hawaiian red shirt she wears as she looks at scattered bodies and burnt down cars.
