The orthopedic surgeon position at Grey Sloan Memorial is no longer vacant.

After three seasons without fan-favourite, Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez), Seattle’s chaotic hospital will be welcoming a new surgeon. So far, we know him as “Ortho God” and the character will be played by the handsome Chris Carmack.

You probably remember Carmack from “The O.C.” in which he plays Luke and is behind the iconic “Welcome to the O.C, bitch!” If you’re a “Nashville” fan then you definitely recognize Will.

Grey Sloan Memorial bid farewell to one of its most beloved doctors, Calliope Torres, three seasons ago. “Grey’s Anatomy” fans were devastated upon hearing about Sara Ramirez’s departure from one of the longest running drama-shows on television. And now season 15 upon will debut without TWO of our favourites; Dr. Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) who was heading for New York to see her daughter and her ex-wife, Callie and Dr. April Kepner (Sarah Drew) who was reunited with ex-fiancé, and now husband, Mathew (Justin Bruening).

The new orthopedic surgeon will definitely be the charming newcomer and is expected to have fans, and probably some characters fall for him as producers are dubbing the 15th season as “the season of love.”

Who do you think we will be seeing Carmack with? A doctor? A patient? Or a mysterious character that is still to be introduced before the show premiers in September…?
