Before making it into the music industry, Calvin used to work in a fish factory and supermarket. However, his real dream was to become a professional football player.
Harris worked with a range of stars such as Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, John Newman, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, Ne-Yo, Cheryl Cole, Gwen Stefani, Mary J. Blige, Scissor Sisters and Pitbull. Nevertheless, Calvin’s most remarkable work was interpreted in Rihanna’s mega hits “We Found Love” and “Where Have You Been”.
On the other hand, he refused to work with Lady GaGa back in 2008 claiming that he doesn’t know who she was! Too bad!!
Calvin Harris is currently dating American singer Taylor Swift, but long before he used to date British singer Rita Ora. He tweeted: “To address speculation—myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago,” Harris also wrote. “She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best.”
Calvin was named as the highest paid DJ of 2013, making over $46 million! The Scottish DJ also created his own record label “Fly Eye Records”, featuring acts such as Nicky Romero and Dillon Francis.
