Last week, the world shook upon hearing the news of Demi Lovato being rushed to the hospital after an overdose.

Doctors assured that the singer is headed for a full recovery but she remains in medical care to this day after suffering from complications including high fever and nausea.  Demi saw the support of her family who did not leave her side, as well friends like Ellen DegGeneres, Nick Jonas, who showed full support on social media. Jason Mraz tweeted about cancelling their Toronto show while wishing her a fast recovery and good health. Demi’s ex-boyfriend and That 70s Show actor Wilmer Valderrama showed up at the hospital and remains in support of the family and the singer. Many of Lovato’s friends and fans tweeted in support and wished her well.

The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer came out a month ago revealing that she relapsed after 6 years of sobriety by releasing a track titled “Sober” and was since then photographed with a glass in hand which she explained was only Redbull.

The news broke out last week when authorities “transported a 25-year-old female patient to a local hospital,” from an address close to where Demi resides but police refused to give out her name. She has been at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center for the past six days.

Her family and her manager are working on a post-hospital rehab plan similar to the one she went through previously as it seemed to be working for her.

Demi Lovato had been suffering from addiction, bulimia and self-harm when she was first admitted to a rehab center years ago and was then diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The singer had since then taken it upon herself to help everyone who’s going through mental disorders and addiction problems by speaking out about the issues and starting a rehab center.

The family and entourage keep requesting that fans respect their privacy in these critical times as many speculations and rumors are popping online which could do no good.
