From all the good things that come out of Canada, comes Bobby Bazini with “C’est La Vie.”
“C’est La Vie” is part of the Canadian artist’s most recent album Summer Is Gone, which was released last November. Lyrically, it’s a very powerful track and the edge in his voice will immerse you in the realness that is life with hope that “love will set you free.”
“C’est La Vie” got a video treatment and a live recording sess shortly after its release. The video captures the depth the lyrics convey starting in a lonely abandoned warehouse and later moving to a roof with a choir and a happier, more hopeful tone.
Bobby rose to fame relatively quickly with his first album Better In Time debuting at No. 4 on the Canadian charts and becoming certified platinum after selling 80,000 copies. His second album Where I belong did an even better job getting him sold out audiences with 60,000 fans in attendance for his free Montreal Jazz Festival.
